How old before pullets can free range?

I have four pullets that are about three months old. They are fully feathered, and are outside in a roofed dog kennel. How old should they be before I can let them free range? I only have until June before I have to use the kennel for the next batch of chicks. So they will me a maximum age of 5-6 months, but the sooner I can let them out, the better. What do you think?

You could have started working them into it 2 3/4th months ago.
