I have 2 day old chicks right now and im not thinkin about letting them out with me yet but when is a good age just to bring them outside for a couple of hours?

What is the temp? Mine were out for 15, 20 min. when they were 3 weeks old. I could have done it sooner but we were moving, very busy.
ETA: It was late April, by the way.

Mine went out to the coop at 4 weeks, they were getting too big for the brooder. Even at 2 weeks, I would bring them outside when it was warm for a little grazing - they loved it! The nights get down into the 40's, 50's here so I still run a heat lamp at night for them. They seem to be doing just fine. Day time temps are in the 60's and 70's. They are 5 weeks now.

well at 2 days they are still young, but it is up to you, if the weather is nice and the ground not wet, I would let them out for a little bit, but keep close eye on them, definetly have some form of pen for them cause they are fast little buggers and you do not want one to get away unseen, and if they start huddling up amongst one another then I would bring them inside cause they are too cold, but it they are just out enjoying the weather I would let them

I took mine out at 10 days of age and each and every warm, dry day since! They love it! I stay with them the whole time. I have a pen available if needed, but so far they move as a group.
