Does anyone know how old white plymouth rhode island reds have to start laying and if they arnt what are some ways to encourage them

most starting laying around 6 months but depends on the chicken itself it could take a year but with those breeds i doubt it

My white rocks are 19 weeks and one just laid her first egg on Sunday. Nothing from the other yet, but we suspect she might be a he.

20 weeks is average. Average meaning some will lay earlier, some later. If they have good food, water and good living conditions they'll lay when they're darn good and ready.
