I'm not about to try the poll feature right now, but seriously, I had a question asked to me today and I wonder how many others feel this way?

I had a lady that I knew from our local pool membership that asked me how old are you and how old do you feel inside?
I was a little dumbfounded at first, and then asked her to give me a min. She's about 5 years younger than I am, and is a funny, curious person. I like her very much!

I told my age was 39, and did I feel like I was 39, I answered honestly.
Yes, there are days where I feel like a wobbly 90 year old in body. My spririt honestly still feels as if I'm 18 and I've felt like that for years.
The body might get older,I may hurt, and be sick or slower than a teenager, but inside, I'm still kickin up the dickins!!

Anyone else feel that way??

I've had a lot of trouble with fatigue in the last week, so just those two questions really woke me up when I was coming out of a long two weeks of not feeling well.

I need to tell her "Thank You" at least tomorrow.

I don't look or sound 30, but this AM getting out of bed my back felt 90.

Then again I'm considering replacing our dining room table with a pool table and a sheet of plywoon and table cloth....

I LOVE my naps, but 2 weeks straight of feeling like a zombie was enough for me, 1st nap free day today!

I'm still pretty young (26) , but at heart I feel like I'm still a freshman in college.

I've got to have my worn out almost 20 year old mattress and my body pillow. It's worn, but still firm, soft matresses, ugh!!

I'll take not napping right now though. Those zombie hours are awful.

This is EXACTLY how I feel!
I just thought I was immature.

There are many days when I feel more than my age ..... but I still think young.... keeps the spirit going even if the bones are letting me down!

I always try to err on the side of being positive.....

I wake up expecting to get up and not go "Ow" or to feel like then. Then my body catches up with my mind, and I have to laugh at myself. I have fibro, but I'll forget it as much as possible, and enjoy my life before I get too old to enjoy it.

I've got a 40th birthday party coming up, who wants to help me plan it? Lots of loud music, dancing, and a good bonfire with lots of food?
