Hi,
I have 5 chicks that are about 10 weeks old and Id like to know what I have. Can anyone put a picture up on here so I can take a look and try and figure it out.
They are nice looking birds just dont really need a lot of roo's.
Thanks

well the Shiney feathers on males will be pointed and the females rounded so baseclt as soon as the body feathers come in.

If you have birds of both sexes, you can tell by their combs. Males' combs will be 'longer', extending farther back on the head than females' combs will. Other than that, it's pretty difficult. They don't get the roo feathers until 4-5 months old. Good luck, I hate pea-combs!
