Hi!! So I have 8 birds, 3 bantams. All the same age. 3 weeks. They have most of their feathers. (Missing underbody, head, and under wing) are they old enough to eat vegetables, crickets, and live worms? I've given them medfeed and freeze dried meal worms. Also, I know they are almost ready to go outside, but I feel badly. Should I wait until every single feather is grown in? Should I still have the heat lamp on them outside? I included a few pics for feather and size reference.

i think they should be fine my chick i had was eating spiders and everything it found outside when it was with a broody hen and it was only a few days old

Thanks. We have a decent garden, so I don't want the chicks eating blueberries and arugula if it's not good for them!!

my chickens eat raspberry's that grow in the yard and grapes to they love them idk about blueberry's though .... my chickens pretty much eat what they want in the yard because i know there is nothing bad for them but idk all the stuff that can harm my chickens but everything they have eaten has been fine and its been a whole winter since they ate it and they seem fine

I gave them some apple diced super small today. They seemed to like it- they didn't go nuts like they do for the mealworms... But they still seemed ok. I'm excited to see what they go nuts for. Maybe it's more for my enjoyment, I could watch them for hours!
