How old is too old to breed and raise poults?

I have an opportunity to purchase a small Narragansett flock consisting of 2 toms and 4 hens that are between the ages of 2-6 years old. They are in good health.

What is the normal age range for turkeys to be of the "poult bearing years"?

Normal range is 1-5 years from what I have heard. As long as you have a younger tom and a younger hen you will be okay. Even older toms may get the job done - just need the younger hens for their egg laying.
