How old should chicks be in order to safely enjoy treats?

How old should chicks be in order to be fed treats? What are some healthy and safe treats to start them off on? Thanks.

My kids started feed int my chicks grasshoppers when they were about 2 days old

When you start feeding chicks treats make sure they have grit. The chicks might not eat the treats right away so give them some time to warm up to the idea.

Treats: table scraps, bugs from garden, meal worms, grass clippings... what do you want to feed them?

Btw, have a Chickie of a Christmas.

Ok thank you. I was going to give them some blueberries, maybe mealworms. Just making sure that its safe as they are only one week old.
