Hi! I also bought chicks from TSC. 5 pullets & 1 one straight run. The pullets look like hen....the straight run........which I was hoping would be a rooster....I'm not so sure. I bought them Good Friday...so I would guess they are 7 to 8 weeks old. The straight run's comb is somewhat pinker & little bigger...but not like some pictures I've seen here.
How much longer before I could say for sure that it's a hen or rooster?

You should be able to tell by now but sometimes...they can be misleading.

What breed are they?

Is it possible for you to post a photo?

It depends on the breed, on some, the sex can be determined at hatch, some within a few weeks, and others not until they're several months old. Can you post pics?

here is picture taken this morning. What do you thinK???

These look similar to mine. I bought some at my local TSC and they were Gold Sex Links and all of mine are hens. And they look similar to those

I sure wish you were closer, cause I could hook you up with a sweet and pretty roo. Out of 5 sexed pullets BO's, one is a roo. I bought 4 out of the mixed bin, and I am pretty sure 2 are roos. So out of the 9, 3 are roos. So far no problems though.
