Mabel died in my arms this morning. She was 13 years, 7 months & 16 days old.

I’m very sorry you lost your girl, she lived a good long life!

She wasn't the most healthy hen when she was young and I really didn't think she'd live past 2 years. Well, she fooled me, she outlived every bird in my flock, she became so gentle, docile and loving in the end. My all time favorite hen of all time. I still miss her.
