How Old was your Orpington when she went broody?

I have a Blue Orpington, who I would like to go broody for me this spring. She is a little over seven months old. I am just trying to get an Idea. I know every hen is different, and may never go broody. She is from a local breeder. Thanks for your input!!!!

Oh good lord, I just bought one of those. I hope she doesn't go broody!

Yeah! I heard they can be quite broody! But you never know........ keep your fingers crossed!

I have 13 BO hens that are about 7 months old. At the present time they could care less about babies.
But I have heard that around the 2nd year they can get quite broody. I just hope that not all of my hens
get the broody bug at the same time.
