How old were your runners when they started quacking?

After really listening, the Cayuga is definitely the one who is making odd little quack-squeeks right now. None of the others have started anything, but they certainly can and do peep their heads off if they haven't seen me for a while and hear me coming. I have adapted them to "duckduckduckduck" said really quickly (I plan on using it to get their attention in the yard/to go back in the run) and they go nuts when they hear that. It helps that I often have greens/treats with me.

They are just about large enough now (2 weeks) to start eating cheerios broken in half or whole peas (smaller ones). I will start trying to work with them more very soon. Especially those that hate being picked up (most relax after a minute and none are stressed when I pick them up, they just would rather be down and running on the floor).

BTW- One of my 2 black swedish is getting huge! Is there a differential growth rate between male and female or is it just normal variation in the two? (my guess is the latter)
