I agree. I woudlnt ship birds this time of year. But I guess it depends on what area you live in. Here in texas its VERY hot... but back in washington where my parents are... its still pretty cold.

Maybe for some places but remember day old chicks should be kep from 95 to 99 degrees for the first week.

The temperature in truck trailers is a lot hotter than 95 - 99 degrees in 2/3 of the country this year. I think chicks would cook in Texas! IMO it would be animal cruelty to send birds to Texas or anywhere else in the middle of the country! It's going to be 100 in Chicago today I think.
