How quickly should a chicken be able to refill an empty crop?

My sizzle isn't eating well, she fills her crop ok at night, and it's empty in the morning, but then she isn't hungry! Is something wrong?

Does she appear to be ill?
If she's not showing any signs of illness, I wouldn't worry about it.
Chickens will definitely eat when they're hungry!
You may want to offer some boiled egg yolks as a treat to see if that peaks her interest.

Chicks normally start the day with an empty crop. They fill it up throughout the day unless they pig out on something and fill up the crop again on that, treats or something new and tasty.

Are there other indications she's not feeling well?

We think she isn't handling the cold weather well. She's moving slower than the rest of the chickens, she acts cold, and she barely eats in the morning time then at night her eating is more normal. So we are keeping her inside at night and letting her out during the day hoping she will start eating more. Any idea what's wrong? She's a four month old sizzle.

How is she doing now? It may be that she isn't handling the transition from warm to cold well. Some do better when they just keep in one relative temperature.
