Honestly I read the title as "How reliable is Data", and voted before i read the thread. I didnt know it said "relatable" until later in the thread.

Yep. He's an ISTJ (I think) and I'm an INTP so I find him quite relatable.

Temporal Prime Directive does not exist *yet*, that is not relevant given that our future is still in flux. So many variables.

What would Data do differently in:
Title: Clues
Season: 4
Episode: 14

If Data had received a message from himself alerting him to the “missing time syndrome” that the crew have happen to them soon & to ready the aliens to be extra careful with leaving clues behind as this will cause stress for all involved. Will Data create a “invisible personal log” for sharing with Capt. Picard months or even years later…

What will Data do? Alter, stay the course? Alter at a different level???

Definitely relatable. I often know what the socially acceptable response or emotion is in a situation (it’s taken time to learn in some cases) but it rarely comes naturally these days. So I end up doing a lot of acting in order not to accidentally offend people. I don’t want to be apathetic but life stress and mental health problems mean I’m often emotionally exhausted.
