How ro cover a run

I have a HUGE area fenced in for my chickens (apx 400' of wire ran). It's been up for a few years now. It is in a HEAVILY wooded area. I started having a hawk issue about 2 years ago. I am trying to figure out how to cover the area. There are so many trees to go around, plus the debris that falls from the trees. I really don't want to move the run. I tried the fishing line....lost a chickens few hours after I installed it. Any suggestions?

Pretty darn hard to cover a run with lots of trees in it.

Can you get a rooster and more covered areas/shelters inside the run?

Lowe’s sells bird netting 7’x100’ that you might be able to install through the trees. It won’t be easy if can do it.
