Purely unintentional- the boots were the only ones that fit from the kids section but were better than the Buzz LightyearGenius!!!!

Well, I took a tumble last weekend and scraped my knee up real good.
That didn't slow me down, I kept my knee wrapped up nice and kept working to get their new coop up as quickly as I could since they were so crowded in the old one....
Well, last night I removed the bandage completely since it's healing nicely and needs to air out now.
I then stepped outside to check on the chickens not even thinking about my wound since I've been around them this whole time anyway!
I was looking in one direction trying to get Smokey to come back over the fence line, when all of a sudden.... OUCH!!! Pepper pecked my scrape
I guess that's the thanks I get for giving them a bigger home![]()
Awww, she loves you.I had a bunch of fire ant bites a while back and had a hen come up, look at me carefully, then neatly and precisely remove the scab off one. I guess she thought it was a bug on my leg.
I wore pants in the coop until the bites were fully healed.
