I am sitting here trying to overlook a HUGE basket of laundry that needs to be folded and put away, forget about the clothes in the dryer with the same fate, ignore DD's laundry hamper, and act like the dishwasher will unload itself and then clean up dinner dishes. Meanwhile Farmer Brown is still working and might be home before I get up. He is a truck driver and works weird hours. I feel tons of guilt for not doing these things yet I cannot rip myself away from computer in order to do that. AH, I hear my son still playing with Legos even though lights out was at 9:00. Please tell me I'm not the only one doing this:th

Don't feel bad, I'm doing the same

I have tons of housework to do and all I can think about is checking the message board!

I did 8 loads of laundry yesterday. Nothing waiting for me in the dryer.

The dishwasher is finished though. I hate putting away dishes.

Laundry is the last on my list. When my fiance threatens to go buy more underwear is when it gets done. I HATE IT! Everything else gets done. The house looks fabulous now that my dear step daughter has moved out. She is the female version of PigPen.

I sweep up around the doors, turn around, and my DS has come inside and drug MORE dried leaves and dirt into the house. Everything I do keeps getting undone, so why not just relax and enjoy BYC forum?!

Well I guess I have to be the ball buster on this one . I'm used to working 50+ hours a week (so does my husband ) . Yes we don't get to things like we should , but at the same time my hubby goes out and works (I'm hurt and going through work comp right now) and I still try to get everything done that I can around the house . If he's working .....you should do your part . How do you think he feels working his butt of to pay for bills while you're sitting on yours doing nothing ? I'm not saying you do nothing all the time , but you're the one who brought up feeling guilty about being on the computer . Hell , I just spent 6 hours cutting up an elk and grinding it into hamburger when all I wanted to do was sit down and cry because I hurt so bad . It had to be done though....maybe that's the attitude you need . Get your stuff done first....then play . Life is life and you have to do things that need to get done before you have play time . Shame on you for not doing your part !
Life can only indulge so much untill it all falls apart . It's up to you to do your part and hold it together as best you can .

well no guilt here I worked 12 hours yesterday came home did the dishes, picked up the house and went to bed for 7 hours, got up at 4am put laundry in washer and am having coffee now then have to mop 4 rooms, feed animals, shower and go back to work. Im always busy even when Im not working. laundry is my easiest job its always clean but I must confess its not always put away.
