Im not sure of the measurements.. I want the coop to be able to keep the turkeys in at night or do bronze turkeys even roost in a coop?cause I heard they roost in trees

I have an inside area set up. It is mainly to provide a place where the feeder and its contents can be kept dry. Outside in their pen, I have planted a dead tree and added old corral poles to it. My adult turkeys never spend the night inside by their own choice even in sub zero temperatures. I have also provided a roofed shade area for them outside. Sometimes they will use the shaded area to get out of the rain but mostly they use it to get out of the sun.

I will keep young poults inside at night since the great horned owls find them to be the perfect size for a late night snack.

ok do they lay in their shed that you have for them?

Last year one of the hens built her nest inside the building but all of the other hens did their best to hide their nests outside of the pen when they were out free ranging. They did an excellent job of hiding those nests.
