I have three adults that were Adopted when a Gent I know decide feed cost too much... one of these three has been scarce... it seems to like dissappearing... three times I tried to follow it and lost it... now I know where it is ... in a Flower patch , dead center on a nest.... bird looked right at me & didnt move.... but runs to get there to hide.... My Question is....how soon before or after a egg is laid....must a Rooster have been involved for chicks to ....happen??? or should I simply move her to see if there are Eggs?
