How soon can you tell if a chick is frizzled? And is mine?

Ok, I have 4 large fowl Turken chicks, almost two weeks old. They are all feathering out beautifully, more so than I could have hoped for. But one has its feathers growing in strangely. I posted earlier this week that they were coming in sideways, but they have grown considerably in the last few days, and now I can see that the actual shaft of the feather is curved and the smaller wing feathers coming in look ruffled. Frizzled wasnt even an option from that hatchery, so I am super surprised at these abnormal feathers. What do you all think? None of the feathers are broken or damaged in any way, this is how they are coming in naturally.

wow... i've never seen a frizzled turken before... also, what color is he...? mille feur..?

iv'e seen serama chicks becoming spangled as soon as their little wing feathers come in... they also kind of curl up and wrinkle up a bit at the shafts... but yours are pointing down... well if they start sticking up, then it's frizzled for show...

Your chick isn't frizzled. The feathers just look a little roughed up or something.

When the feathers first grow out, they look like they're pointing at a 20-45 degree angle straight off from the body. As they get longer, they look like Dipsy Doodle Doo's chicks there.

btw LOVE those birds.

His feathers arent ruffled up, they are actually growing that way. The shafts of the long feathers are curved sideways and under. The little ones that are the last row before the long feathers are growing every direction. I have had many adult frizzles, but never as chicks. I do know that there are different degrees of frizzling. My Frizzle bantam Cochin rooster's main wing feathers are completely straight while the rest of them curl upwards.
