I have a couple of "baby" roos, about 10 weeks of age, red stars...They are the only roos in with my girls...I cracked open two eggs yesterday for baking, and one had the plain white dot on the yolk, as a normal infertile egg would have, and the other had the bullseye mark on it as a normal fertile egg would have...can this be?? Am I seeing things?? I just thought, man those boys are awful young for that kind of behavior, but I have heard of bantam roos going for standard size hens...I am just wondering what the heck, when do roos start wooing hens? I will have to have eggs for supper tonight, and crack some more open to see if there are any more like that...
