How stop egg eaters

I haven't seen eggs from my Cochins for awhile, and sence its cold here in Michigan, I
expect it. But I opened there breeding pen last night to check and see if everything was
okay for the night, and found them eating yolk. At that point im thinking, how? there arent
any eggs!. Then everything clicked into place

. Darn it! How do I deal with this? I
hear egg eaters are a pain in the butt to break.



Any suggestions?
