Newfies are notoriously sweet and gentle. I have never met one I didn't adore! My fave was a 6-month old in one of my classes named Mac the Newf!

I think 2001, the german deutsch mark was replaced by the euro, guess what I did with my first ever euros?! Yes, I sat at an emergency vet clinic, cos my dog had bloody diarrhea, again
Another funny story, she had a very long strong tail, whenever she wagged, it was like someone was hitting you with a stick, whenever the kids grew to a certain height, she hit them on the head whenever she was pleased to see them luckily, they grew out of the phase

So cute how Dina's sitting in that first pic. I've seen a few dogs sit that way, but not many. A Great Dane once, I think. And that's hilarious about the kids getting smacked by the dog's tail although they probably didn't think so!

a few nights ago Skippy was in the house and he was digging around in the coat pile and there was a bag of dog food on the coats and Skippy made the bag fall and he got so scared that he tried to back away so fast that he tipped onto his back and rolled into a bucket and then he got to his feet and ran to his kennel

Yes, Skippy is a dog. He is a Beagle and he is 3 years old.

His name is Timber and he is a 6yr old Aussie/lab mix.

I already posted this story in the fails thread:

Once we brought Timber to play at a friend’s house. They had a pond with a little dock, and their dog Merlin was running off the dock and jumping into the pond. Timber wasn’t too sure about jumping. He took a couple false starts jogging to the end of the dock, then he gingerly tried to step onto the water with his front feet. He did a nosedive into the pond and came up looking very shocked! He crawled to the bank looking very subdued and bedraggled, and Merlin came over to him to see if he was ok.
