How tall are large breed ducks?

I’m converting a shed to a coop for a mixed flock. Currently I just have chickens and will be moving them into the shed and getting ducklings in the spring. Can anyone tell me how tall large breed ducks like Saxony, Silver Appleyard, and Buffs are so I can plan how high to mount the chickens’ poop board and still give the ducks good clearance to walk under it?

I have some of those breeds and inside my duck house I have some plastic tables which are actually sections from a big shelving unit some of the ducks jump up and sleep on top and some of them sleep under the clearance is 18 inches and they’re very happy with it, but don’t forget Ducks are very good at ducking.

It doesn’t have to be so high that they’re standing completely upright underneath it. As long as they have other space to walk around without a shelf above them. I like to give my ducks at least 4 ft.² each floor space inside of their overnight coop.
Something funny I’m sitting outside with my Ducks now and the light breeds (my Indian runners) when they stand up right they’re taller than the big heavy Ducks lol they stand like a little bowling pins

Wow I didn’t know ducks could jump that high. That’s very good to know. I was thinking of putting it closer to waist height for easy scooping, which would obviously be plenty of head clearance (even without any Runners in my future flock), but I also didn’t want to make it so high my chickens couldn’t easily get up there as they start to age, so conservative recommendations for that purpose were 18-24” off the floor. I don’t necessarily want a ramp (if I place the platform/roost higher) right in my walking path to the nesting boxes at the back of the shed, since the footprint is only ~7’x7’.

I'd go with 24" or even higher to account for bedding height. 18" may be plenty of room for a duck but it will be a little hard on your back. My roosts are about 28 inches off the floor. My elderly chickens can jump up to them on their own, but I do provide one step (in the form of a small wooden wire spool) just in case and both my old and young chickens use it regularly.

Mine is pretty much the same size. It’s a 6 x 8 small shed.

And how high are those platforms? It looks like your ducks just jump up there no problem, but I don’t want them to be able to jump on my chickens’ poop tray, so I’ll have to put it taller than that.

PS your ducks are beautiful, and I’m intrigued by the idea of using a table.

I chose to go that route because it’s easier to just move them to clean under and behind them and then move them back and they can be rearranged etc.
I flipped each piece of shelving upside down and put the legs under it so there is a depression on the table top and the towel with the pine flakes doesn’t fall off, but it’s like concave. And I just occasionally wash the towels.

What kind of shelving did you use that has a lip on the underside (now topside) and do they use that as their nesting area or just for chillin?
