How tall are toulouse goslings at 6 weeks?

Geese grow quick and they get big! How many are you planning on having, for how long, and of what breed? Geese can get close to 3 feet as adults. It takes them about 9 weeks to be fully grown, not including sexually, being a full grown adult, or anything along the lines of that. In my experience with geese, they're not the best jumpers but they sure can get out when they want to! You should have it a little taller than them, a brooder taller than at least 2 feet. The length and width also is very important, they need lots of space as they grow and they get messy quick. Especially since they're waterfowl and love splashing in water.

My mom wants to have a pair of toulouse geese. She wants to use an old upright dresser and split it long ways as a brooder for both chickens and geese but based on pictures of 6 week old toulouse geese and the size of the dresser I am guessing by 4 weeks we'll have to switch them over to a xlarge dog crate because of height issues.

I raise Africans but this may give you an idea. Tiny one at the bottom center and one to the right not quite a week 2 really tall ones not quite 3 weeks. However most geese and ducks dont fly like chickens so they do with a wall dont really need a roof. I was hatching ever 6 days and there are But they do grow fast
