Since this is posted in "Local Chick Laws & Ordinances". I'm assuming it is about how tall your chicken coop is rather than the height of one's birds.
The height of a chicken is dependent on breed.

This is posted in the Local Chicken Laws & Ordinances forum. Many cities dictate the dimensions of a chicken coop so that had me thinking it was about the height of the coop.
It seems like forums like
