How to assure eggs WON'T hatch?

Google slipped tendon. Be sure the tape isn't preventing her from bending her ankle naturally (this was a flaw with your previous booties)

Feed her hard boiled egg yolk, as much as she wants. Get some poultry nutri-drench and give her a drop on the side of her beak once or twice a day. Offer her water every hour if you can (dipping her beak to make sure she doesn't get it up her nose.)

I am not planning on reading every single post in here, but from what I take here is that you don't want folks that buy your eating eggs to hatch them out??? Then why would you keep a rooster with them?? If I want just plain eating eggs I take the rooster out. If I want fertile hatching eggs the rooster goes back in with them. Just that simple. However once someone buys eggs from me, I couldn't care less what they do with them. They could even throw them at Obama for all I care.

Just saying if you don't want someone hatching them just in case if it should happen maybe a 5% chance of that happening. Why not just keep the eggs yourself, do like I do and pickle some. Rule of thumb is always just sell them as eating eggs no one needs to know, unless if you have EE's. Then you could just use them yourself.

X3...... Comic relief, this thread certainly needed it.. Kinda like the thread where the girl was wanting to know how to make her hens stop laying because she didn't want to kill any potential babies...

Oh, I remember that... but in this case, there is a pretty reasonable motive behind the crazy inquiry.

Not really... I sell hatching eggs and I sell eating eggs, if I was so worried somebody might take a chance and hatch out my eggs (I seriously wouldn't care) I would make sure the eating eggs couldn't hatch I.E. not fertile...

Oh my gosh I haven't read that one yet. I probably would have fell out of my chair laughing. What does she think eggs are??? I wonder if she knows where the eggs from stores come from.

Next thread the lady stops drinking milk due to the fact that she could be taking a potential meal away from a baby cow.

several tried to tell her to take the rooster away, no mating, no potential babies, but she said something to the fact that the hens liked "doing it" with the rooster..

It kept me in stitches...at first we tried to help, but it soon became apparent there just wasn't any way to help..
