Okay, I hope this is in the right section....

It has been raining....alot, and I have two silkies who look pathetically dirty and wet, and their feet/leg feathers are all muddy and crusty.
Any suggestions on how to bathe them? Warm water and baby shampoo perhaps?
I'm new to the feather legged breeds.
Thanks for any help!

Warm water and baby shampoo would be fine

Or you could use Dawn dish soap. Make sure the water isn't too hot. Make it something you would be comfortable in. Afterwards wrap them in a towel and blow dry them (it takes a while. All those feathers hold A LOT of water.)
