I have a Jersey Giant pullet who has gone broody as of today. I May want this, but I do not know yet, but if I do not want her to be broody what are some of the best ways that you people would recommend me to do in order to break her broodiness.

Broody jail. <—— search it for more detail.

Basically a wire dog kennel with food and water. No bedding. Every 24 hours let her out, and if she wants to return to nest, put back in for another day. Goal is to put her somewhere she cannot create heat for a nest.

The only thing that I have that resembles what you are saying is, a chicken wire cage in a barn on a dirt floor would that work? It is about the size of a medium dog crate.

Yes but can she still be around the rest of the flock? You don’t want her forgotten while she’s in jail.

She might build a nest on just dirt. Give it a whirl.
