How to Build a Run

hey im totally new to this site but i built a chicken coop a while ago and didnt know where to start. lol i found this online and used it to make one and it has worked great!! just an idea. its worth the $30.

rgearhead - Awesome coop! The dog kennel that you used for your run looked like the exact same one that we used for our dog! Very cool...

Brookliner - I would put something at the bottom of the run, but does it have to be hardware cloth? Or does chicken wire work along with welded/woven wire?

thanks... I just moved the chickens out there today..So glad to get them out of the house..I hope the doubled up chicken wire i buried a few inches under the Run works at keeping raccoons and the fox out..

I bet they loved it! Our chooks were so happy (or seemed like it) when we finally let them out of the coop for the first time. At first they were terrified but it wasn't long before they were running around in the grass.
