how to calibrate a Hot Water thermostat?

I Want to make the thermostat stay at 99.5, even tho i move the lever to just about 99-100 the temp rises up to 104.6 until it shuts of.. What can i do besides making holes to the cooler. It already looks like it went downtown and started trouble with the mafia..lol

most thermostats have a 5 degree difference, they turn on at 5 degrees lower than the temp you select and warm 5 degrees higher than you select.

Put the thermostat 2 inches away from the light on one end of the incubator an the fan an eggs on the other. It will make the thermostat cycle faster an the timp at the egg side will be stable.
