How to calm my duckling?

I got a lone duckling who at night gets a little upset when I’m not handling her, I know I should get another duckling for her but with covid and me being in the country it’s hard to go anywhere other than the shops. Usually I talk to her until she quiets down but it can be a little tiering, she also keeps going on even if she can see me. Of course she eventually looses interest but is there anything I can do to comfort her?

I've never tried it with my ducklings, but I have put a mirror in with baby chicks so they think they have company. Maybe a squishy, fuzzy stuffed toy that she can cuddle with would help? Good luck with your baby; it's hard when you want to help them and don't know what to do.

Thank you <3 I’ve put in two stuffed toys which I’ve seen her cuddle up with and have heard about the mirror thing but haven’t tried it :/ this is my first time hatching anything so I’ll have to learn along the way and buy mirrors for my ducks.
