I have been using an old blanket to throw over my peafowl to catch them so I can administer meds or spray for mites, etc., but it is very traumatic for my birds. I have heard that using a poultry net works well, though not sure that is less traumatic, but thought I would look into it. Any suggestions as to the best way to catch peafowl? Mine are not tame enough to just let me pick them up. Thanks for any advice.

I use a big poultry net when I have to. I prefer tossing a big towel over them, grab legs, wrap towel around wings, holding legs with finger between & bird tucked under arm. This gives me control to medicate or whatever is needed, without a helper.

When I had peafowl I would just leave there food (mainly bread and seeds which was there favourite) outside a small shed and every day I'd put it closer to the shed til they would walk in and then id use a towel to dust them for mites etc
