How to catch my roosters?

I have finally found a home for my roosters. Now comes the hard part, transporting them. How do i get them into boxes? They arent very nice

Where do they sleep? If it's someplace you can reach, that's your best bet. They're stupid when they're asleep, just go in and pluck them off the roost, hold them firmly and try to keep their eyes covered. Chicken brain says no light=sleepy most of the time! Good luck.

I catch them off their roosts at night. Put them in a dog crate (or similar) for the buyer to pick them up the next morning.

I've ALWAYS done it that way when I sell birds (hens, roos, teenage chicks) as far as I'm concerned there is no other way

A 20 dollar fish net is a great investment.

Catch them when they are roosting. Your hen will be much happier once they are gone.

I use a long handled large fishnet to catch chickens that don't want to be caught. Otherwise I have to run after them for 10 minutes and corner them.
