How to catch my very skittish hen

I have a very skittish stressed Svart Hona and the breeder I purchased her from is taking her back and replacing her with a juvenile that is closer in age to the rest of my flock. The problem is she has never let me near her and I have no idea how I am going to catch her to put her in a carrier. I am a very new chicken mama and could use some advice.

Wait till night when she goes to roost. Then she should be easy to catch.

That's a good idea. I've heard that chickens can't see in the dark....if that's true then that makes sense. Thanks for the advice.You're a smart "new egg"
