How to change thread subject?

I posted in the buy-sell-trade and the chickens sold... I see some threads that have "~SOLD~" in their titles, which would suggest that there's a way to change it after it's posted.
Help please?

you click "edit" on the first post.

Click edit on your original first post and then go to the subject line and change it, then submit.
