How to choose a picture to represent me?

hello! I want to choose a picture to represent me. What I mean is: when someone comments on a problem, next to their username there is a box with a picture. If you don't have one, it's a grey picture of a chicken. I want to have my own picture of my chickens. How do I do that?
 
That's your Avatar. Click on your username in the the upper right corner of the screen, under the brown "my profile" box. You'll find it in the menu there. You can upload a pic.
 
I don't quite understand. Sorry. Could you explain it In a different way? Also, I'm on my iPhone. If you have any I instructions for an iPhone than PLEASE tell me. Thank you!

Glad you could join the flock! Silkie nation is right the picture you are talking about is your avatar.

I appreciate that but I can't upload it any picture from my computer. I would like to upload from my iPhone. If you have any information on how to up load from my iPhone I would gladly appreciate it! Thanks!!

I use iPad not iPhone. Have you tried switching from mobile to desktop? Go down to the bottom of this page you should see desktop down there give it a click maybe that will work? I use iPad on desktop. I hope this helps other wise I'm not sure :idunno

There is something that says "user avatars (mobile)" and under that you can click hide or show. Right now it's on show.

I've just switched over to mobile to see for the first time. I too can't see where to change avatar. But scrolling down to the bottom of this page and clicking on "Desktop" takes you to a different version of BYC. Once there you can click on your profile in the top right hand corner. Then once on your profile under the avatar pic there is the option to change add one.
