How to clean off dirt in the scales of my chickens legs

Hello everybody, I’m preparing my chickens for the Evergreen State fair in the first thing I need to know how to professionally clean is there scaly legs if you look closely, there’s dirt stuck underneath them. I’m positive I did something last year didn’t get it all with a toothbrush is there another way?

No it’s too harsh and will strip natural oils and dry out the skin

Dawn bath, then soak in a vinegar water bath which takes all that soap off...there's videos on it

Vinigar is too hard as well and how are you replacing natural oils with vinegar which damages the feathers extremely bad

Use baby soap so you don’t damage the oils and then dilute vinegar in water and wash after
