Hello, I am incubating my first batch of eggs- 2 Easter eggers and 6 cuckoo marans. I have a janoel12 and I’m on day 5 of incubation. My temp has been staying near 38C and my humidity around 72%. I know that I’m supposed to lower the humidity in a few days but I’m unsure how to do that. The instructions just say to add 100ml of water every 2 days but do not say how to lower it, other than obviously adding less water? Also, how do I add water during lockdown if I can’t open it?

72% is high for incubating and fine for hatching. To lower humidity you as less water; if you live somewhere humid you may not have to add any until lock down.

Ok, thanks! I live in western Georgia which is pretty hot and humid. I know the manual says add 100ml every 2 days, but I also know that the Janoel12’s instruction manual is infamously bad.
