How to create a blue chicken?

How do you make a blue chicken? In a simple explanation. What colors would i need and how many generations would it take?

For 1 generation- you can breed a black to a splash, and all chicks will be blue. There are several variations that will give you some blue, black, & splash chicks as well.

In answer to your question, you cannot just 'create' a blue chicken.

You have to start with a chicken that is blue or carries a blue gene. saladin
