Okay, I've come to terms with the feedback I got that of my 4 chickens 3 are cockerels and that the jury is still out on the silkie. Now what do I do? Can the 3 live together agreeably? At what point do I try putting them together? They've spent 2 weeks next to each other. One night Lou wouldn't go back to the coop and seemed to be looking for the younger 2. Put them in the run together while supervising; good thing as he really went after them.

Lou is 15 weeks and I'm starting to think a Buckeye:

The other 2 are 6 weeks and have been living together separately from the older 2.

Tiny who may be a Welsummer?

And Reggie who I'm not sure about:

I have about four adult roosters and about 5 young roosters that all live together . My boys for the most part all get along. The older boys have there ususal issues like Mr.Spanish will start to crow and then Mr.Mouth will run over and grab his tail feathers to interupt it.lol It's all about the pecking order. I have been told I have too many roo's but as long as my boys behave and don't get too aggressive or outta control they have a spot in my coop.
But I am going to get rid of the younger roo's, My older boys are my babies.
With my experience it depends on the personailty, mine get out and free range and I think that helps that I also have enough ladies to go around. I had a few roos that were too rowdy and they would be fighting constantly but they are now gone.
I think if you have enough ladies then they will do ok.
That's just what I have delt with in my coop:)
Good luck

Thanks for the advice. Being a newbie I was hoping to keep it to just hens for starters. No such luck! We built the coop for 5 or 6 chickens so I'm not sure what to do next. Three of the 4 are bantams so maybe we can squeeze in a few more bantam hens?
