How to determine gender

Hi everyone I have been hatching many chicks and coming out too many and I tag them but I just don’t know how to determine their sex. I checked many videos but they didn’t really help. I don’t if it is because my chicks are mixed breed and that may be a problem that I can’t find out the sex. If there is any way to tell pls let me know it’s same for ducklings too.

It takes practice, and even the EXPERTS at the hatcheries only get it at best 94% but 80% is very common.

Unless the chicks are auto sexing breeds or sex linked or you're very experienced with the breed it would be very difficult to determine sex at hatch time. The Metzer farm YouTube video on sexing ducklings is great. Best of luck!
