So recently i went on vacation and let my parents take care of my chickens. Well the coop door was left open one day and a family of raccoons decided to kill most of my chickens so i need to start over.
I want wheaten/blue wheaten/splash purebred ameraucanas, but i don't know who to buy them from. I raise only a small backyard flock (30 birds or less), so i want beautiful almost show quality chickens. What do i look for? People mention how their roosters and hens have no "ticking". What does that exactly mean?
