How to determine sex of turkeys?

Hmmm, I'm beginning to wonder if I have all (4) females. They're all about the same size (2 Palms, 2 White Midgets) and rarely puff up except when the dog is taunting them on the fence line.
I'll try to get some pics posted soon.

Here are the differences between a female strut and a male strut: My female My male I thought my two wild turkeys were toms until I posted that first video and someone said that isn't a strut :p

Both sexes puff when they feel threatened to make themselves look as big and scary as possible. Only toms gobble, in the presence of a female and otherwise, but a junior or bata male will not gobble in the presence of the alpha males or a member of the IN CROWD ! Only females will have a thin line of feathers up the backside of it's neck and lower head region. Sometimes it takes until the males start gobbling at about 6 months old before I can tell, especially with mixed breeds, but this is only my second year raising turkeys. I have Holland Whites. If you only have one of a certain breed or a white breed you won't be able to tell by the feathers, so be patient, the males will gobble in time.

I have 33, hatched out from March to September, so they are all different ages and the only thing I know for SURE is the gobble and the neck feathers tell their sex! The neck feathers are at an earlier age and since I have so many, some do not gobble yet(late bloomers or intinidated bata males), but the hens all have their neck feathers.

I only have 4 but would of liked to of had a pair. Oh well, enjoying my girls.

Yay! I have a pair! My first Turkey pair ever! I love my Mannie and Spider, both Royal Palms. And only 2 months difference between them, Mannie is about 7 months and Spider is 5 months. I was worried Mannie wasn't a boy, but he gobbles like crazy. Can't wait for him to get his beard!

Congradulations! By spring you should be getting eggs and Royal Palm poults to add to the family, Or at least by summer!

You can get them a Tom, you would only need one tom, I think, for all 4 hens!
