How to determine the gender of a three month old chick?

I have no idea what the gender of my three month old buff orphington chick is. I'm really hoping its a she, because if it's a rooster i'll have to give him to a friend. I'm not sure how you can tell, like where do you look? My other buff of the same age looks very different from this mystery chick; smaller comb and wattles, shorter feathers. This one just seems man-ish to me. Any advice? Thanks!
 
You look for quicker comb and wattle growth and early redness of both. Pullets only get really red combs and wattles near POL. Roosters also normally have thicker legs. Post a pic. That would help gender ID. Pullets can get spurs, and sometimes roosters do not. That is not a 100% way to define gender.
