How to disinfect AND get rid of mites

I no longer have any chickens and would like to disinfect my EMPTY coop and treat for any residual mites. What is the best process? How long should I wait to get new chicks?

Spray every nook and cranny with Elector PSP diluted in water according to the back of the bottle. Do not forget to get rid of the bedding and blow everything out before you do so. Everyone uses a different chemical to rid of em but this is my preferred way. Also get rid of any feathers lying around because mites will probably still cling on. Not sure if there's a certain length of time you have to wait before you can get new chicks.
