If you spray one and then the other without waiting for the first to dry or rinsing in between, aren't they mixing? Will that cause a problem?

x2Oxine is a very safe disinfectant that's said to be 200x's stronger then bleach. I put oxine in their drinking water to keep the bacteria out. It works great for that too! If they get sick, you can use a fogger and mist them.
I dilute the oxine with water in a spray bottle. I wash my eggs with it too, especially before passing the eggs onto other people.
Make sure you never activate it with the crystals. Dilute it in water as is. It's a great product! I had my bottle over a year and I use it frequently. I clean my shoes with it too.
You can only buy it online.
The activator creates a chemical gas that will poison the birds. It's like putting bleach with ammonia and breathing it in, very dangerous to the birds.
The activator makes it much stronger and if you do use it, it has to be completely dry with no vapors in the air. I like the product. I use 1/4 tsp in my 3 gallon waterer and I don't need to change the water daily. It keeps the bacteria out. I like washing my eggs with a diluted solution as well, which there are instructions for. Anyways, it's up to you and how you want to manage your flock. The oxine is not cheap, but worth it in my opinion.
