How to dose Rescue Remedy?

I got it now I don't know how to give it to my 2 injured girls. The directions say 4 drops to a small glass of water for humans or 4 drops on tongue. I tried it yesterday - course I am not seriously stressed so I didn't really get any sensation from it...a little concerned that it is 27% alcohol!!??
Do I need to mix it in something or drop it into their beaks? I'm just not sure. I haven't yet purchased my human::chicken equivalency booklet yet

so I will have to depend on you guys.
We are warmly tucked into the bathtub and are sleeping peacefully.
V&E available, as well as chick starter, laying feed, and scrambled egg for munching.
My Barred Rock seems to be perking up and the RIR eyeballs the side of the tub as if intending an escape soon.
How long do I need to keep them inside?
