How do you hold a chicken to examine under her wing and abdomen?
Our hen was injured by a fox. She has a large wound under her wing and abdomen area. I've been putting antibiotic as best as I can on the areas, But I would like to do a better cleaning and application now that this is the 2nd-3rd day.
Of course she struggles, she seems to have more energy. I am worried about hurting her wing. The wound is under the wing and I don't know how to really hold the wing to see better, let alone hold the chicken to see better!
Any technique?
